Based on our vast experience within oil, gas and wind, Ramboll is well positioned to perform policy and sector studies. We conduct a wide variety of different studies ranging from financial and economic analyses to environmental impact assessments.
Specifically, we conduct supply security studies, develop gas and transmission system strategies as well as season planning, and perform demand and supply analyses. In recent years, we have also increased our environmental expertise and resources, enabling us to provide environmental impact assessments for most energy projects.
Strategies for securing supply
Some of our major policy and sector studies include national gas strategies for Yemen, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Poland, a series of studies regarding supply security, transmission and storage of natural gas for the EU Commission. We have also contributed to the revision of the EU TEN-E guidelines, which is a set of tools used by the EU to facilitate and promote energy infrastructure projects.
Close co-operation with customers
In all our studies, we make a point of cooperating closely with our customers by keeping an open dialogue and involving them in the project definition process. At conferences around the world, we also contribute with talks on natural gas as a viable transition fuel. Like our customers, we are strongly committed to securing energy supplies in a sustainable fashion to the growing number of consumers in Europe and around the world.
