NiCe is unique because of its singular design: the wellheads are arranged relatively closely – in an ingenious circle configuration within the column – minimising wave load on the conductors and allowing for easy valve operation. The result is a safe, robust structure that is cost-effective, low-weight and easy to produce.

FEED and pre-conceptual studies

Ramboll has carried out many successful NUI projects. For an unmanned light-weight platform of the STAR type, we performed the front-end engineering design (FEED) of monotower jackets and topside facilities, as well as a pre-conceptual study of minimum topside facilities. This included jack-up installation of 800 topsides at a water depth of 72 metres.

Our skilled engineers can perform all necessary analyses, including:

These analyses are performed using Ramboll’s cutting-edge, in-house software Ramboll Offshore Non-linear Jacket Analysis (RONJA) and Ramboll Offshore Structural Analysis Programme (ROSAP).
