Ramboll secures revenue of DKK 5.5 billion despite global economic downturn

Ramboll Group delivered a resilient financial performance in 2009 reflecting that the company has successfully adapted to the prevailing market conditions. The group secured its revenue at DKK 5.5 billion and achieved a profit before tax of DKK 213 million despite significant non-recurring costs. The company is net debt free with a committed credit facility exceeding DKK 1 billion for future expansion and holds an order book of DKK 2.4 billion. Thus, Ramboll is well prepared to pursue its strategy for growth.
Continued support to Nord Stream - Europe’s largest infrastructure project today

After Nord Stream’s achievement in obtaining on-time construction permits from the authorities in Russia, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland, a result of several years’ preparatory work, the first of Nord Stream’s two 1220 km natural gas pipelines through the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany will soon be constructed as planned starting in April 2010.
New Chief Geographical Officer appointed at Ramboll

Knut Akselvoll, 47, will join Ramboll as member of the Group Executive Board 1 April 2010 with responsibility for the geographical dimension of the organisation. In this position Knut Akselvoll will be heading the further development of all country business units.
Ramboll wins detailed design of Anholt Offshore Substation

Ramboll has won the detailed design of the substation platform of one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world, the 400MW Anholt Offshore Wind Farm in Denmark. The contract with Energinet.dk includes the design of the entire platform (substation), covering both substructure and complete topside design.
