Employee development dialogue (EDD)

In Ramboll all employees are entitled to an employee development dialogue (EDD) with their immediate manager once a year.

 
At the annual employee development dialogue the expectations for the future are harmonised.
 

Every year all employees in Ramboll are invited to an employee development dialogue (EDD) with their immediate manager. The EDD is a formalised framework for mutual feedback where a dialogue about performance and development opportunities takes place.

The conversation is based on the following focus points:

• Ramboll builds its success on the talents and competences of the employees
• A manager in Ramboll is curious of the talents and competences of the employees
• Employees in Ramboll strengthen their market value through continuous development of their talents and competences

The goal of the company appraisal process is that manager and employee take an appreciative approach and create a positive dialogue about the potential and development areas of the employee. The employee and the manager contribute with their individual input to the conversation and together they create a balanced view of expectations for the coming year. 

In addition to the annual Employee Satisfaction and Engagement Survey, the employee development dialogue (EDD) makes it possible for employees and management to go into dialogue on matters that need improvement.
