This business logic forms the basis of the holistic philosophy of the Ramboll Group. With the Excellence Model (developed by EFQM, the European Foundation for Quality Management) we have a framework, which perfectly reflects the holistic philosophy.

We have implemented the model in our business and termed it "the Holistic Company Model", which serves as a guideline for leadership, development and reporting in the Ramboll Group.

Holistic leadership

The strategies in the business units in the Group are structured according to the nine key criteria of the Holistic Company Model to secure a consistent focus and a holistic approach throughout the entire organisation.

Holistic leadership implies that all colleagues will be involved in the discussion and preparation of strategies and business plans to ensure understanding, commitment and deployment.

Holistic leadership is founded on a principle of continuous learning, based on facts. The process involves the setting up of goals; measuring actions and results to determine gaps and areas for improvement; implementing solutions; setting up new goals; etc.

Holistic reporting

The Ramboll Group published its first Holistic Accounts in 1995 to give stakeholders a more satisfactory view of the company's many intangible results and values. Since then the holistic reporting has been a permanent supplement to the financial reporting. The reporting is structured according to the Holistic Company Model to give status and set targets for the nine key criteria.
